Lila Hurwitz is Principal Consultant at Doolittle+Bird, specializing in project management, communications, production, and grant writing for artists and others. Previously she was Associate Director and Director of Communications at Artist Trust; Administrative/Co-Artistic Director of Dance Art Group, producers of the Seattle Festival of Dance Improvisation from 1994–2011; designer of Contact Quarterly magazine for 11 years; and a dancer working with Nina Martin, Lucia Neare, Karen Nelson, Lisa Nelson, Stephanie Skura, Crispin Spaeth, and others. She received the inaugural Velocity Dance Center Dance Champion award in 2011 for her arts advocacy work.
